Roles and responsibilities under the new Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste (PPWR)

In the first session, we will focus on Article 3 of the new PPWR, paying particular attention to the definitions, distinctions and roles of ‘manufacturers’ and ‘producers’.

Participants will receive a structured overview of the roles and obligations of the various economic operators along the value chain and learn how responsibilities under the PPWR are allocated depending on the specific business model and market position.
